As Executive Producer, Julian Gerighty will oversee all The Division games and products, including Tom Clancy’s The Division 3, led by Massive Entertainment who is actively building a team for the game.

This announcement represents Ubisoft’s dedication to the longevity of the brand. In his new role, Julian will drive the many interdependent production elements of The Division brand in a unified direction. This includes development oversight, operations, and creative vision together with the development teams around the world who are currently developing the mobile games Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence, Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland, and Tom Clancy’s The Division 2.

Today, Ubisoft announced the launch of The Crew Motorfest, the ultimate open-world driving experience! The game is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, as well as Windows PC through the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store. Players can also play the Ultimate Edition of the game with a Ubisoft+ subscription, on Xbox, Amazon Luna*, and PC via Ubisoft Connect. A new Live Action Trailer was also released to celebrate the game’s release.

In The Crew Motorfest, players get to explore the island of O’ahu in Hawaii and participate in Motorfest, an always renewed festival designed for all car enthusiasts. At the heart of the event, they can discover new outlooks on car culture through a selection of 15 thematic campaigns, called Playlists. Each coming with a specific atmosphere, music, objectives, gameplay, and rewards, the Playlists fully immerse players in the best car culture universes and allow them to explore the legacy of iconic brands, or master different driving styles: from underground street racing in the Made in Japan Playlist to American Muscle cars, off-road, open-wheel racing, drift, and more! Electric supercars have their Playlist, all about immediate raw power and energy management… and vintage classics have one too, with entirely different gameplay settings, removing GPS and assisted driving to bring back the feeling of legendary vehicles from the past. Today, Ubisoft announced a transaction giving Ubisoft the cloud streaming rights for Call of Duty and all other Activision Blizzard titles released over the next 15 years once Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard is completed. This will enable Ubisoft to bring cloud streaming access to Activision Blizzard games to more players all around the world. These rights will exist in perpetuity.

These rights will further strengthen Ubisoft’s content offering through its subscription service Ubisoft+, as well as allow Ubisoft to license streaming access to the Activision Blizzard catalog of games, including future releases, to cloud gaming companies, service providers, and console makers. This will help expand access for players across all streaming services.

Ubisoft’s expertise in developing online services and distribution along with its relationships with streaming providers will continue to provide more choice for players to engage in the games they love from both Ubisoft and Activision Blizzard. Ubisoft+ will be able to further expand its growing library of titles enabling players the ability to play across multiple platforms including PC, Xbox consoles, and Amazon Luna with a single subscription to Ubisoft+ Multi Access, and on the PlayStation platform with Ubisoft+ Classics.
