Several Monster Hunter Now players are looking for joysticks or controllers to spoof their GPS location. This makes playing the game easier, as you don’t have to go outside and can play from your home. There are many apps that give you a joystick to move your character directly from the game without even actually walking in real life. They achieve this by spoofing your location. But Niantic regularly updates their games to combat them. So here is how they work.

There is no particular app that we can recommend, but you can find plenty of location spoofing apps on the Google Play Store. For your safety you should try only the apps that you find trustworthy. Don’t install any random APK file on your phone as it may be a potential malware. Here is how most of them generally work:

  1. Install some Fake GPS app on your phone.
  2. Open it and set a location.
  3. Tap on the start button and a joystick should appear.

Now, you should be able to move your character by using that joystick in Monster Hunter Now. In case the above method doesn’t work then the app might not be working with the latest version of the game. You may also need to root your phone or enable Mock location to fix it. Rooting is not recommended at all if you are new to these things as you may end up bricking your phone in the process. Also, even if it does work other players may report you for cheating, so we highly suggest you avoid using such means to play.
