How to Get to the Subterranean Shunning Grounds in Elden Ring

Although the location is not that far, traversing through Leyndell will seem confusing. These steps will help you easily reach the Elden Ring Subterranean Shunning Grounds:

1. To start this run, you need to first head towards the Avenue Balcony Site of Grace in the Leyndell, Royal Capital.
2. From the Avenue Balcony, run down the stairs northwest, and then head out to the west. Now hop over the fence and get down below on the burned-out streets filled with dead bodies.
3. Watch out for Albinaurics that come your way. Make sure you run north and look for a well. Once you spot the well, jump right into it descending the stairs to find yourself in the sewers.
4. Now, don’t forget to turn on your lantern as it is quite dark down here.
5. Once you are at the bottom of the stairs, you will find a metal door to your left. Head through it and then jump down to continue heading deep into the sewer.
6. Soon you will find yourself in a room full of Giant Rats. If you have a Beast-Repellent Torch, you can simply use it or run past the rats further through the door ahead. Soon, you will reach the Subterranean Shunning Grounds in Elden Ring.
7. Head further through the path and you will also find a Rune Arc. Keep heading ahead and you will reach the end of the path with stairs to your left. Once you head down and take a left ahead, you will reach the Subterranean Shunning Grounds Site of Grace. 

One of the things that players need to note is that the Omens are patrolling this area and they might attack you before you reach the Site of Grace. There are 5 possible endings to her hangout event. The starting point of the quest is at Pardis Dhyai, teleport there as indicated by the quest marker. You will meet Tighnari and Collei, Tighnari wants you to accompany collie to check on Faruzan. Teleport to Sumeru City and from here you have to focus on your choices if you wish to get a specific ending.

Note: Some dialogues do not affect the ending. Hence only the ones which do make a difference are shown here.

Ending 1: Stories of the Past

You and Collei will ponder on how to get Faruzan’s help. Answer “Let’s help her resolve her current problem first”. Later Faruzan will be stuck in a decision regarding Kshahrewar and Haravatat Courses, answer “Tell me more about that Haravatat Course”. Continue the quest normally since only these options affect the ending.

Ending 2: Knowledge is Wealth

In order to unlock this ending, in the moment when you and Collei are pondering how to get Faruzan’s help answer “Let’s help her resolve her current problem first”. Next when Faruzan is contemplating between the two courses; answer “Let’s hear what this Kshahrewar collaborative project is about”. Later Faruzan will ask you to tell her what the minimum number of steps required to solve the seven layers of Pagoda Stack is, and answer “127 steps”. Doing this will reward you with the achievement, Mechanics: From Beginner to …?. There will come a moment when Faruzan will be unable to decide which text and illustration style will look good in her reference book, answer “Try to be accurate and detailed?” Continue the quest usually since only these options affect the ending.

Ending 3: The Gardener and the Nursery

Follow the exact steps as given for Ending number 2, only change the answer for when Faruzan is debating which text and illustration looks good, here the answer is “Try to keep it simple and fun ?”. Continue the quest normally since only these options affect the ending.

Ending 4: New friends, a new life, a new beginning

In order to unlock this ending at the moment when you and Collei are pondering on how to get Faruzan’s help answer “Let’s think of some way to get her to Pardis Dhyai”. After this continue to choose dialogues as you please until the point when Faruzan asks you to return to Pardis Dhyai, you must read all the 3 letters on the ground. Doing so will unlock the Achievement: To You in a Hundred Years. Next Tighnari will ask you about Faruzan’s location when you return to Pardis Dhyai, answer “ Tell the whole truth”. Continue the quest normally since only these options affect the ending.

Ending 5: Welcome Back, Faruzan

 Destined Encounter

• Travel to Port Ormos and have a conversation with Masur who explains about a stranger misusing a loophole in the mailing system. You will receive a Wine Scented letter.
• Make your way to  Djafar Tavern and wait till morning.
• Dainsleif will also appear during this conversation. Follow Dainsleif to Avidya Forest.
• You will find yourself in a house, investigate the contents there and continue talking to Dainsleif.
• On hearing a noise, go outside to defeat the slimes.
• Sitting by the bonfire, have a conversation with Paimon.

Fortune Mocking Pedigree

• On waking up look for Paimon inside the house, a strange man named Eide will question your motives for being there.
• After pressuring him for a bit he will show you the hilichurl lying on the bed by the wall. There will be a discussion with Eide who will reveal that he is from Khaneriah and some of the history of Khaneriah. He will tell you about the hilichurl who is his son Caribert.
• Requirement: Two Kalpalata Lotus and Sumeru Roses in your inventory to craft the Namless Taboo Medicine of the Royal Court, as asked by Eide.
• Watch Eide Worship the Staue of the Seven and which you must administer the dose of medicine to the hilichurl.
• Get Eide the water from the waterfall as he creates a special fertilizer needed for the Strange Mushroom. There will be monsters who are attracted to the strange mushroom.
• On successfully defeating the monsters, pick the mushrooms and craft the medicine. During this Caribert will awaken and walk away into the forest until Eide notices.

A Lamenter at Fate’s End

• When you follow the mysterious hilichurl, you will encounter an Unknown Sanctuary. The Hilichurls will be worshiping something there.
• Explore the cavern and find 3 keys to open the upside-down chamber.
• Once you open it glide down and keep moving forward till you encounter a Fortune Lector (Cryo Abyss Lector).
• After defeating it continue to move forward till you reach a big open space, you will be interrupted by a cut scene.
• You will be faced by a giant purple crystal hanging from the ceiling. A mysterious voice will speak to the traveler.
• Leave the cave with Eide and return to the house where the medicine will work and Caribert will be able to recognize his father. Eide will return to the cavern to offer his thanks to the mysterious voice that healed his son. Achievement unlocked: The Far Side of Fate.

Portended Fate

• Follow Eide and enter the sanctuary again. There will be some small enemies like slimes.

Genshin Impact’s Version 3.5 has the Judicator of Secrets Cyno on a rerun banner alongside the new 5 Star Pyro Claymore Character Dehya in Phase 1 of the Event Wishes. Cyno is a 5 Star Electro Polearm-wielding character. The Featured 4 stars on his banners are Barbara (Hydro), Collei (Dendro), and Bennet (Pyro). He has had major appearances in many of Archon Quests and is a fan favorite. He has been added as part of Genshin Impacts Sumeru Update (Version 3.0) and has played a very important role in the lore of the Game.

Is the Cyno Rerun Worth the Pull in Genshin Impact?

Here are some things to consider if you are pulling for him during his Re-Run.

Pros

• Works well with Dendro Units, Increased Elemental Reactions with his skills.
• Burst has resistance to Interruption.
• More Damage output during this burst stage as Cyno won’t get knocked back easily.
• Easy to build with 4-star weapons like ‘The Catch’ which can be obtained via fishing in the game.
• Weapons can also be crafted for Cyno using Polearm billets at the crafting benches of Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and Sumeru.
• His best-in-the-slot weapon is the free-to-play 3-star weapon ‘White Tassel’ which can be easily obtained through the Wishing System.

Cons

• Difficult Play-style due to adherence to strict rotation.
• The Energy Cost of Burst is 80, best run with an Electro Character (Battery) like Fischl, Raiden Shogun, or Kujou Sara.
• E Skill releases AoE Electro attacks; Burst converts normal attacks to Electro. This does provide a loss in Damage since the ability does not stay on the field when Cyno is switched out for another character.
• Is not the best when it comes to quick swap teams. Kamisato Ayaka is in the second half of the Event Wish and she is a great DPS as well as viable in quick-swap teams.
• Burst has a timed phase for larger damage output.

Note for New Players: The term Battery refers to a character who can produce a lot of energy for another character whose damage is heavily reliant on their Elemental Burst

The current 4 Stars on his banner with the exception of Bennet (Pyro), are not the best choices when it comes to team composition. When it comes to preference everyone has their own favorites but team compositions and damage scaling is definitely major aspect that players are looking for.
