XDefiant is slated to release this summer as confirmed by Mark Rubin, its Game Director at the Ubisoft Forward event. But luckily, the players that didn’t test out XDefiant’s closed beta can try it out sooner. During the event, it was also confirmed that its open sessions or beta will be live between June 21 to 23.

This open beta will be available on all supported platforms which include PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X | S. To address the feedback on all platforms, the open session will test out several technical factors. This includes the new net code, controller tuning, and most importantly checking out the running servers.

Adding the schedule for its six-week Preseason, Ubisoft announced 14 Maps, 5 Factions, 5 game modes, Z4 Weapons, and more. Once the preseason is over, we will move on to its Year One roadmap. In addition to four new meta-changing factions and characters, it will also include 12 new maps and weapons. This adds up to one new map and weapon, every month.
