Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 gives you the first look at Megumi’s dad. But before we go any further, there are a few anime and manga spoilers below and you have been warned. The first few episodes of JJK Season 2 are from the Hidden Inventory Arc aka Gojo’s Past Arc. One of the best reveals of this arc was the introduction of Toji Fushiguro and yes, he is Megumi’s father. The fight between Gojo and Toji was one of the iconic ones where we finally see Gojo bring out the Hollow Purple for the first time. It’s also the fight where things change for Geto as he walks down the path of a villain after the death of Riko Amanai.
Who is Toji Fushiguro in Jujutsu Kaisen?
Toji Fushiguro is one of the supporting character introduced in the Hidden Inventory Arc of JJK. Although born to the Zenin clan, Toji was a non-curse user. As such, he relinquished the Zenin name and earned the nickname of Sorcerer Killer after becoming a mercenary. The Hidden Inventory Arc or Gojo’s Past Arc was the first time we got to see him in action when he went toe to toe with Satoru Gojo almost bringing him close to death. However, Gojo bounces back and you get to see the Hollow Purple for the first time. The attack fatally wounds Toji and as he dies, Gojo asks if Toji has any last words. After some thought Toji reveals that Megumi will be sold to the Zenin family and to do whatever he wanted with that information.

After the Hidden Inventory Arc, we get to see Toji Fushiguro back in the Shibuya Incident Arc. Granny Ogami uses her Séance Technique to transform her grandson into Toji to gain his abilities. However, things take an unexpected turn when Toji regains control and kills Ogami. While he does create a lot of havoc in Shibuya, his end is as good as anyone would expect.
Is Toji Fushiguro Megumi’s Dad or Brother in Jujutsu Kaisen?
While many have had the confusion about Toji Fushiguro and whether he is Megumi’s Dad or brother, the answer is that he is his father. Although Megumi is not completely aware of him even when they square off later on in JJK. Towards the end of the fight, Toji realizes that he is fighting his own son and asks him his name. He is quite happy that Megumi did not take the Zenin name. And that’s about all that and we don’t want to spoil any further details on what happens next.
